Newcomb Electric opened in 1948 as a small television
sales shop and electrical contractor. Many things have
changed over the years, we no longer sell televisions,
but
have become one of Southwest Virginias most comprehensive
commercial Electrical, Mechanical and Data/Communications
Contractors.

safety programs in the country. We employ a full
time safety director as well as having our field
supervisors and project managers carry Osha 10,
CPR and first aid certifications.
Our ability to tackle any size project is largely
a function of experience and resources. We have
a proven track record of completing jobs on time

Our Mechanical Division, added in 1996, is dedicated
to Plumbing, Pipefitting, HVAC and Sheet Metal.

The Mechanical Division has steadily grown
and become recognized throughout the region
for our excellence and ability to do quality
work by a deadline. Our duct is produced in
our own sheet metal shop, which enhances our
ability to complete projects on schedule.
Newcomb Electric can handle any task large
or small with our 24-hour service departments.
Our Electrical and Mechanical Service departments
are available to serve both our commercial and
industrial customers on projects from routine
maintenance to plant expansions.

In 1999 we became a part of Integrated Electrical Services,
which is a leading national provider of electrical and
communications solutions serving the commercial, industrial,
line and service markets in 47 states. IES is a Fortune
500 company with over 14,000 employees nationwide.
In 2001, we added our newest
division, which is the Data Communications Division.
This Division offers the following services:
Data, Fire Alarm, Audio Visual and Pro-Sound
design. Our goal is to competently and professionally
provide our customers with the information/products
that they need by using the latest technology
and services.
This diversification with our Electrical, Mechanical,
Communications and Service Departments allows
us to take care of all of our customers needs.
